Hello! My name is Joseph and I've been programming games professionally for over three years.
Video games are an incredible medium with interesting problems to solve for a curious developer like myself.
I'm constantly learning and I'm dedicated to utilizing my skills to continue to create memorable gaming experiences.
I've had the privilege of working excellent games with amazing people including
Thrive: Heavy Lies the Crown
and Nightingale.
When I'm not developing games I'm either climbing, swing dancing, playing volleyball, or out in the mountains.
My wife and I also run a charity supper club called Sunago
and it has been incredibly rewarding to grow our skills and deepen our relationships with our communities.

Humility
Growth can only happen when we embrace our failures, ask for help, and pursue learning with an open mind. As leaders, this also means that we must facilitate an environment where people can come to us without fear and fail safely.
Ambition
We must seek challenges and opportunities to reach new heights and expand our capabilities. We must also understand that this can only be acheived by building a strong foundation of skills and trust and valuing slow and steady growth.
Service
The key to success comes from understanding how to best provide value to others and wanting it for them, whether it's players, co-workers, or anyone in between. By prioritizing this we strengthen our communities, build trust and gratitude, and ultimately, share in success.
Camaraderie
A strong team can acheive anything which is why we must prioritize building relationships, investing in each other's success, and embracing and overcoming challenges together. We must approach each other with a heart of service and humility to build teams with a foundation of trust and support.
Diligence
We must take responsibility of our work if we want to create meaningful gaming experiences. Excellence can only be acheived when we give our best work. We must do our due diligence to maintain healthy collaboration, processes, and codebases recognizing that the highest cost to our teams is disfunction and debt.
